Head of Developer Experience Products (m/f/d)

As the Head of Developer Experience Solutions (DevEx), you will own the strategic direction and portfolio evolution of our Developer Experience domain, while building and inspiring the teams that bring it to life. You will lead and grow cross-functional product teams dedicated to our Atlassian-based apps in the DevEx domain, driving delivery excellence and ensuring teams are focused on the highest-impact work.

Beyond team leadership, you will own the overall DevEx domain vision, positioning, and market direction to ensure our products—like DevSensei—evolve into a coherent, highly competitive portfolio. By identifying new market opportunities and translating customer needs into strategic priorities, you will align roadmaps and stakeholders across product, engineering, and business units to drive measurable business growth. As a member of the leadership team and a champion for DevEx both internally and externally, you will ensure our teams are unified around clear business outcomes.

(Note: this role requires traveling to our Zurich office one to two times per month.)

Experience

• Several years of experience in product management, program management, or product leadership roles

• Proven track record in defining and executing product strategy and roadmaps

• Experience scaling teams, driving change, and delivering business impact

• Experience shaping domain strategies, portfolios, and product directions

• Background in developer tools, productivity solutions, or platforms (e.g. Atlassian, GitHub, JetBrains) is a plus

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong product thinking — ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into product strategy

• Experience with go-to-market planning and competitive positioning

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Experience owning and managing product portfolios and coordinating cross-team programs

• Proven ability in customer and user research to inform product decisions

• Experience working in agile environments and structuring complex topics

• Data-driven mindset with focus on business outcomes and impact

Technical & Languages

• Sufficient technical literacy to engage credibly with engineering teams and understand the developer tooling landscape (DevOps, CI/CD, code quality — domain familiarity, not hands-on expertise required)

• Fluent in English
